People ask me—”What made you decide to write?“ My answer to them is…I love to read. And inspirational books not only entertain but give us the ability to see others face the trials and tribulation that life sets before us. Regardless of the time period, the pain, suffering, and hardships of life remain the same. I like to go back in time when in some ways life was harder and in other ways it was simpler. That love for reading turned to writing. God gave me the words and as I sat typing on my computer, the words spilled forth. I give God the entire credit for the words I write because without Him I couldn’t write a page. I pray that my stories will speak to readers in a way that will help them see the love of Christ and help them grow spiritually.
When I'm not writing or reading you can find me sewing, smocking, or spending time with my family in the beautiful state of South Carolina. We are a state rich in history. My many times over great-grandfather and his three brothers trudged these same lands of South Carolina and fought in the revolutionary war for the freedom I enjoy today.
